CHRIS ROACH
SONGWRITER | MUSIC FOR SYNC
Chris Roach is a British-born, Nashville-based songwriter whose music blends cinematic storytelling, alternative rock energy, and emotionally charged fantasy-inspired themes.
Since beginning his touring career in 2011 as bassist and background vocalist for GRAMMY Award-winning country group Shenandoah, Roach has spent years on the road with major artists including GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Eric Paslay and currently serves as Tour Manager for multi-platinum recording artist Kip Moore.
Alongside his touring career, Roach has built a catalogue of songs designed for film, television, comics, and fantasy storytelling — combining moody atmosphere, soaring hooks, and character-driven emotion. His work has earned placements across film, TV, and mobile platforms, while his growing collection of genre-inspired original songs has attracted attention online from fans of superhero, sci-fi, and fantasy culture alike.
Recent releases such as Bottoms Up, Up, and Away! and the gothic noir-inspired Only the Night showcase Roach’s evolving creative direction: cinematic alternative music built for neon-lit cities, emotional antiheroes, fantasy worlds, and larger-than-life storytelling.
His music and content have also been shared by James Gunn, Frank Grillo, and Todd McFarlane.
Whether writing for artists, sync, or his own releases, Chris Roach creates songs that feel equally at home on a streaming playlist, a midnight drive through the city, or the closing scene of a film.
